About Me

I’m a 50 something ex-<fill in the blank>.  I’m a former radio personality, IT professional, TV producer/writer, professional wrestling columnist, professional wrestling booker, comic book collector, and probably several others that I’ll think of later.

My last full time profession, which didn’t pay anything, was taking care of my dad.  He means the world to me and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that he has a good life.  He’s done the same for me and it is what I want to do at this point in my life.

I’ve lived in small town Michigan, the Detroit suburbs, Chicago, the Milwaukee suburbs, Kuwait, and Grand Rapids, MI before returning full circle to the house I grew up in.

I’m active in Irish Setter rescue, and not much else right now.

This blog is mainly a writing exercise for me, and something to occupy my time.

I’m glad I found your posting on S resolution 636. Thanks for (in my humble opinion) saying it so well.
Best of everything for you and your dad.
And the Irish Setters (we don’t see them much in So California any more….are there many in Michigan??)

Found you researching pet euthanasia. Great posts on the subject. Thanks so much.

I hope you and your Dad are doing well.

My beloved three-legged rescue pup is having health issues and I was looking up causes/solutions and came across your article. I have been in rescue as well and found it very rewarding. This article touched my heart and brought a tear to my eye as I am pondering a decision that we all dread in the future. They certainly wrap their tails around our hearts.
    Thank you for the post.
